What is the Price of an Inflatable Sports Dome?
Updated: Oct 30
Inflatable sports domes are large, portable structures made of durable materials that can be inflated to create an indoor sports facility. These domes are typically used to provide weatherproof and versatile spaces for various sports activities, such as soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and more. They offer a convenient solution for athletes and sports enthusiasts, allowing them to train and compete in a controlled environment regardless of the weather conditions. Inflatable sports domes can be set up in different locations and are designed to be easily inflated and deflated, making them highly flexible and portable.
So, the cost of an inflatable sports dome can depend on several factors, including the size of the dome, the complexity of the design, the features and accessories included.
Larger domes made with high-quality materials and advanced features will generally be more expensive than smaller, simpler models. Custom designs and branding can also add to the cost. Additionally, the cost may vary based on shipping, installation, and maintenance expenses. It's important to consider all of these factors when evaluating the cost of an inflatable sports dome and choose a model that meets your specific needs and budget.
At Creative Inflatables, we firmly believe that compromising on quality would be a disservice to our customers and our brand. We are dedicated to providing exceptional inflatable dome tents that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, durability, and customer satisfaction. Because of this, the cost of an inflatable dome tent depends on a few factors, but we never compromise quality, durability and nor custom tailoring to customer needs. This leaves a few factors that will go into factoring the price of the dome.
Size and Dimensions: The size of the dome tent is a key factor in determining its cost. Larger domes require more materials and labor to manufacture, resulting in a higher price. The size of the dome also affects its capacity and functionality, so larger inflatable domes may be more versatile and accommodating, contributing to their higher cost.
Complexity of Design: The complexity of the design influences the cost of an inflatable dome tent. Domes with unique shapes, intricate patterns, or specialized features such as multiple entry points, windows, or partitions require additional engineering and manufacturing effort. This complexity adds to the overall production cost, resulting in a higher price since some of these are custom features that stray from standard builds.
Customization and Branding: Adding customization and branding options to an inflatable dome tent increases its cost. If customers want their logos, graphics, or specific colors incorporated into the design, we can certainly work it into the manufacturing process. Customization allows for a personalized and branded dome but there is more labor and planning involved which requires more attention to detail and overall price.
Shipping, Installation, and Maintenance: Other factors that can contribute to the cost of an inflatable dome tent include shipping, installation, and maintenance. Depending on the location of the customer and the size of the tent, shipping costs can vary significantly. Professional installation services may be required, especially for larger or more complex dome structures, which can add to the overall cost. Additionally, ongoing maintenance requirements, such as repairs, cleaning, and storage, should be considered as they can affect the overall cost of owning and maintaining the tent.
At Creative Inflatables, we aim to provide customers with high-quality dome tents tailored to their needs and budget. By considering these various factors, we ensure that our customers receive a durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing inflatable dome tent at a fair price.
How do you set up an inflatable dome?
Another common question that is asked when we are working with inflatable domes is, "how do you set up an inflatable dome?" Sometimes the process is simple, because the dome may be smaller but every so often, it can be very hands on. This is especially true of domes with a larger footprint because while the radius is relative, the actual size of the inflatable increases almost exponentially. Take for example the domes in the following gallery. They are sorted from smallest to largest and as you can imagine they gradually become more and more hands on and labor intensive to manage.
For context, here is an installation video on one of the larger domes, it is 50-feet wide. In it you can see what it takes to install one of these behemoth structures. Such large inflatable structures require close attention and extreme caution during the entire installation process. For a service fee, our professional installation department will install, tie down and take-down the inflatable. If you are outside of our service area, we will do our best to help by creating a video with the entire process for your crew to have a guide to go by, like we did for this client.
